my vote is for a happy elephant. I agree with Anastasia that it's name should be Edna with the color but I do like Eddie. I am sure it will be loved and the oddities will never even be noticed by anyone but you.

Happy face! Bridget and I think Eddie is absolutely the most beautiful and truly special elephant we have ever seen. If he needs a home you just PM me and send him my way. He will live with all of my oddities and cute things I keep collection from everywhere. Eddie is magnificent and all of his 'happy accidents' (never call them mistakes!) make him truly unique and personality; just like his creator!

    In love with Eddie!

Oh I think your friend is going to love Eddie He may have some problems but that just makes him unique. He was made with love and that's what counts and not to denigrate Eddie or your work but he is a pincushion after all.
BTW if your friend doesn't love him send him to my house.
    Give him a happy face.

We don't see many elephants on this board. Is Eddie ever cute. I think he needs some French knots or something for eyes, and a yarn or embroidery floss tail. I would give him a crazy little grin. I know how finicky these little stuffies can be to make. Your being to hard on yourself. I think you did a good job. Your friend is going to be thrilled! I know I would. Please post a picture when you've finished him. Thanks for posting.
