    If you are thinking of making something similar, I cut the strips on the straight of grain like you cut most things. Looks like the strips vary from 3 to 5.5 inches in HEIGHT (before sewing). The WIDTH also varies from 9 to 12-ish inches and the angle is 60 degrees. Cut half the strips with the angles going one way and the other half must be cut the other way to form the chevron. I just put strips RST and then cut the stack at 60 degrees. I sewed the strips long sides together to make columns then trimmed the width of each column. The columns are not all exactly the same width. At each column's end you will need a wedge shape to avoid so much waste. Hope this helps! Also remember when sewing the strips together by their long sides, to STAGGER each strip's angled end over the one next to it to form the side of the column. A tiny triangle should show when strips are overlapped.
