Is that a wrought iron bed? King size? Wow, that quilt is at home on a bed like that. Beautiful

It is a wrought iron bed but not old. It is one of those electric jobs, each side can be raised/lowered/massage. With foam matress and remote control too. I think it's the most comfortable bed in the world!

I had a scrappy quilt from my childrens grandmother. She made it out of her old dresses and aprons. Stupid, poke me in the eye stupid, me sold it at a garage sale when the kids were small as the colors were not what I was into. ARGH!!! You brought back a fond memory. Sometimes its not so much the finished product as it is the effort and love that went into it. As those who quilt know there is a whole lot of LOVE into the work that it requires to make something. You just can't buy that.
