    Love this quilt....the use of the 2 blocks is so creative!!! I'm like you and don't buy patterns....just play with blocks and designs....sometimes i back myself into a nasty corner that way - but figure it helps keep my brain working. You are obviously a master at it....because this one is truly unique.

    Your quilt is beautiful. I think black in the background just unites all of the colors and makes the design of all the scraps so compact. I like white also but think the white pulls the design apart. It is a totally different look. I also like the combination of squares you chose to use together.

    Wonderful quilt. Two common quilt blocks with lots of different fabrics and basic black has brought it together for a very dramatic look.
