Been working on this quilt. I'm donating it to Ducks Unlimited and they will auction it off at their banquet in Oct.
    Finished size will be 72x72
Everything has been going well until a few minutes ago when I went to sew the first border.....
The presser foot on my machine will NOT lower!
    I've tried everything!
It was working fine yesterday!! ??
Now I have to take it to the shop to be looked at ASAP tomorrow morning! I'm hoping to get it back in time to get this quilt finished!!

    ((((screaming!!))))

What a pretty quilt top. Such a shame you are having "foot" issues. Hope it's resolved very speedily.

Gee what a mean thing to happen when you are so close! This quilt is wonderful! They should have no trouble making some good money off this beauty.

Oh check under the plate inside, there may be something caught inside there that would stop the foot releasing to come down. Or you could try putting a little oil onto the rod that goes up and down and check that really good.

It will all work out in the end. Cute quilt. I recognize the ducks from the curtains in my kitchen :)
