    What a perfect solution! I may need to do this to keep my big Malamutes out of the sewing room. When I am in there, so are they & I go to move & trip over a leg or head. LOL Sure gets fun some days. Thanks for sharing your idea.

    Great idea. I had a cat once who run up the ironing board that was leaning against a wall and it fell over on him...he walked in circles for days, poor thing.

    My husband does the same thing with his train rooms. But, he says it's for more even heat distribution. His train room and my sewing room are both in the basement. Don't tell him, but one the cats knows how to get the door open and the dog follows her in for a grand ol time. ;-) :-D
