    Those are all beautiful Cande but I especially love the black one - are they crazy HSTs? And the border is fabulous! :-D

    I love batiks. You guys made beautiful quilts with them.
    Here is a simple pattern made with only 3 1/2 by 2 inch rectangles.

    Ooo Cande, that black one is special, I absolutely love it and keep going back to look at it!
    Has everyone noticed how much more black is being used lately, and to fantastic effect in everything...
    I think we are all "playing" much more with colours and effects. Great isn't it?!

    Oh WOW - I love batiks so this thread is the best ever!!! One of my batik quilts is in my avatar. I'll have to go look for the rest of them.

    I have no idea what HTS stands for! I saw one like this on some site, loved it and saved the picture. I don't know how much cardboard I went through before I got templates made that would work for the pattern! I love the way the black sets off the colors.
