Default Simple prayer quilt

[h=5]A simple prayer quilt. Our church gives a tied quilt to people who we feel are in need of one. Members tie as they say a prayer for the recipient which is why it currently has untied threads hanging. Fabric Northcutt Artisan charm pack, a scrap from stash and JA WOW. Colors are brighter than the pic.[/h]

Beautiful! Our church does a similar thing tying the ends of a polar fleece blanket. always appreciated.
Thanks for sharing a neat idea.

Our church does it also - they put the quilt in the Narthex and then let the people know who it will be given to, so everyone has the opportunity to tie, pray, and sign the card.

Ours goes on the altar to be prayed over by the entire congregation, then to the Fellowship Hall for tying while coffee hour is in progress. A card would be a nice addition. Ours get a 'Prayers and Squares' label.

What a great idea! Looking at all the knots reminds you how many prayers were spoken for you.
