Very cute and creative. Love the colors and pattern together. Great combo.

I had to think really hard to cut the fish fabric correctly so that they would not be upside down.

Did you design this quilt? If so, very good job.

Love the quilt and Smoky! She is a typical cat, EVERYTHING belongs to her! Dog's bowl, think again! Not right now! I LOVE it!

No, tigerlily. I cannot take credit for that. It is a block called the Ribbon Block. I have done it a few times. Easy and fun.

Smoky's a lucky kitty - the fabrics in the new quilt are great, and I like the block you chose.

Even better, though, is your cute little kitty. I admit it, I love cats. Yours is so sweet!

    Thank you for sharing.

Hi. Your cat quilt is adorable. Smoky is the spitting image of my
gal Pepper- we call her trouble for short. She likes to pick on my
male cat Koko (he hisses a lot but he's just so wimpy) Hes 6 years
old and shes only 3. She zeroed in on him from the very day we
brought her home from the shelter. Sometimes I feel sorry for him
but if he'd learn to play with her she wouldn't torment him so much.
Anyway, I have a lot of cat fabric but haven't gotten up the nerve
to cut into it yet - waiting for just the right pattern.

What a lucky cat! You and others here have motivated me to make a quilt for my next dog, which I hope we can get in not too many months from now, after we've moved.

Oh that's gorgeous! I can't let my Barney Boy see it - his cushion just has other cats on, not nearly so much fun as FISH!

Catlady, that makes me think of my Dachshund, Rosco. When we brought Lieber home (Rottie) Rosco ran into the bathroom and hid behind the toilet. Rosco was 10 lbs full grown, and Lieber was 11 at 7 weeks.

quiltswithdogs, I would love to see your doggie quilt when you get it finished.

Isn't it funny how attached we get to our animals. Our Rottweiler, Lieber only lived to be 9 1/2, but I managed to take 370 pictures of him. Still wish it could have been more.
