    Thank you for your answer. I think the 5 x 7 blocks with strips of color being 1.25" will be the easiest pattern for me to play around with. Thanks for your help.

    Okay--the center pieces are 3.5 by 7 for the skinny ones and 5 by 5.5 for the chubbies. Knowing which side works to add color to the skinnies is easy; the center strip for the chubbies needs to be cut at 5.5--then add the strips and cut apart at 5". Does that make sense? I had to remeasure everything before I made more and cut the chubby strip at 5" so had to add the color one by one. No biggie, but easier in strips.

    You have been very busy indeed. Love all your quilts and the colors, but especially like the strings quilt with the black/white fabric. Thanks for sharing with us.

    Just to clarify, I had some of these tops done for awhile and recently got them quilted/bound/finished. I haven't done ALL of them since summer started. lol
