    Default Some Scrappy Quilts

The first 2 quilts I have been using up my scraps to make some quilt tops to practice my FMQ on. I find it hard to be scrappy so these are my version of a controlled scrappy quilt The brown one is Pineapple Blossom and the blue one is Fourth of July, both from Quiltville.

I saw a picture of the star quilt here on the board, so I tried to come up with my own pattern. I didn't get it quite right and ended up cutting the tips off my points . The fabric came from a wonderful member here on the quilting board that was giving away her scraps. Thank you ! the scraps were wonderful and there will be many more scrap quilts.

Love the blue scrappy, the pineapple makes my double vision - well, double so I can only glance at it!

I think the star is wonderful...and as long as most of the points are squared, it's how you designed it. It's so colorful that it would cheer anyone up, that's for sure!

You made all three have that 'wow' factor! Nice job! This just goes to show you, and all of us, what can become of scraps when someone puts their mind to it.

Great quilts. They may have come from your scrap bin, but they certainly don't look like it.
