    and yet I still managed to cut wrong.

    Oh I think it's just lovely. My DH has to cut my quilts or I would waste so much material. The ruler always slips on me. I just love the colors you have chosen. Thank you for sharing.

    Sometimes it is just fun to take some favorite fabrics and make up something easy. Yep, sometimes the easier it is, the longer it takes and the more mistakes I make. I did that once of my son...a quick quilt that I could easily finish by Christmas..well, I chain pieced 90 blocks WRONG! Bagged it for another year. Then got it out to quickly finish it for the next Christmas. Took all the 90 block seams out. I promptly chain pieced 105 blocks all wrong. Bagged it again. Finally the third Christmas I did it right. So much for quick and easy. It took three years and lots of ripping. Thanks for sharing. I love the cutting part but I usually mess something up on that too.
