Looks good to me... I have yet to try my hand at applique.. just bought some fusible backing.. not sure it is right stuff ... guess I'll find out soon..

If you take out the circles in the middle like some have suggested, you will have a "hole" and need to replace it with something else -- in my opinion. I think it is beautiful!
