Default Tree Of Life-Ready for the County Fair

Here's another little wall quilt I finished up in time to enter in the county fair this week. The top is made using 3 layers: a background fabric, colored felt for the trapunto branches, trunk and roots, and shimmery organza over the top of it all. The leaves are quilted and then painted with acrylic fabric paints. Then I added some beads for a little more glitz. It measures 29" in diameter. I'm entering it in the fair in the "art quilt" category, so wish me luck!
