this was the second option quilt i got when i made my queen, it was elanore burns pattern, cut one get 3 quilts the TWICE AS NICE pattern from eleanor burns. i made mine 3 quilts from this pattern by buying jelly rolls and adding 2.5 inch strips from my stash. following the pattern you get smaller quilts, the blocks looked so nice i had to have more. (of course) so this is my twin size from the companion block. i don't have a finished top picture because i left it 3 strips so i could quilt it myself. but i did lay them out on the bed and take a couple.

it's elanor burns January Block Party Strip Tease series Twice As Nice pattern for jelly rolls. I watched the show at vimeo.com
she has a ton of them there, of course you should be able to buy the pattern at one of her web sites. you have to check out the queen size i made.
the idea was use jelly rolls and sew 3 strips together, cut out the pieces for the blocks i used in my queen, (that gives you an 11 x 11 block)
use what is left from those cuts to get the patches for the blocks in this quilt (7x7 blocks)(mine is bigger than thiers and i set it up differently), and the scraps will make up into a baby quilt of 9 patch. ( i haven't made that yet but i made so many blocks that instead of twin-throw-baby sizes i'll have queen/twin/throw or a few baby and table runners)
    i love it, no waste!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a beauty that I'm going to have to bookmark. LOL

I will have to live to be 154 now to get all the ones done that are on my "to do" list.
