    It is a square template with a wonky x marked on it. You put together your blocks like the first pic. When you place the x mark on the seam and cut, you get a block. Turn it slightly to the right. Sew them back together and you end up with the second pic. There are 2 sizes of template: one for 5" squares and one for 10" squares.

    What is the finished size, before you added your extra boarders. I need to figure out how much smaller it ends up so I can adjust to fit the table I want one for.
