    When you start using the selvedges, do you use a foundation square kinda like making a string quilt?

    Great job!! sure would have to be able to sew a straight line for sure - what size seam allowance do you use?

    Yes! I used 81/2" squares of calico, stiched the selvedges diagonally then recut to square them off!!

    No seam allowance just stitched as close to 'sealed' edge then just overlapped the next piece! (Clear as mud???)
