Izy, I've been awestruck by your lovely miniatures...and have enjoyed reading everyone's comments. This afternoon I was doing some cleaning and found an old (like 12 years!) publication by the editors of Quilt Magazine...it's titled 'Miniature Quilt Ideas'. Most all are paper-peaced, but some are done without. There is even a miniature BOM in it...all 12 months! It's really given me the incentive to try miniatures myself...The biggest inspiration was seeing your beautiful work!

I've been curious ever since I first saw a post card. Do you send it through the mail like a real post card or do you need to send them in an envelope? Hve never tried them but they look interesting.

Yes you can post them just as you would an ordinary card, although I sent all of these to my friends on the board in an envelope as I used sequins and crystals other embelishments and didn't want them damaged

:D HI Izy, you are doing great. I love to do scrappy little blks... I am working on one now has over hummm cant remember but thousands of pieces 1.5 x 1.5 in and 1.5 x 2 in. It is called a friendship quilt.... If you use all scrappy except a certain part of the blk it comes out looking like a mini irish chain. One of my friends has made 2 of them already.... I have over 1200 pcs already cut and still cutting....

    Hi Izy,
Your blocks are just stunning. You have such a gift for blending things together. I really like the tulip (as so many others remarked).
I tried to read through all the comments before I bothered you...I just love this star within a star, and I'd like to know where to get the pattern. I apologize if you've already posted an answer and I missed it.
I only seem to have time to check this board during my breaks at work, so it's a real challenge to keep up! I hope to eventually check out all the pages you recommended here. Thank you for your help...and I'm glad you posted your blocks as a work in progress rather than waiting until the quilt was finished!
