Oh goodness, I've been retired for almost 10 years and haven't done much of anything! Love the stars one best.

Not only did I enjoy your quilts, I enjoyed seeing a little of your garden. Both were such a treat.

Minnesotans will be "loony" for the first quilt. The Loon is the Minnesota State Bird. Love those birds! Besides which, we are all loony here anyhow. Beautiful work. I am jealous!!!! I haven't had time to do much of anything the past four/five months. Mom (age 96-1/2) had go to the permanent extended care, my husband passed away in March and I have been trying like heck to keep a semblance of normalcy around here. Learning how to live alone is something else - first thing was a steel door with a five foot deadbolt lock (only kidding about the five feet), but I feel safer. Then I got a fence for the back yard (son seems to think I am too old (74-1/2) to go chasing around the neighborhood for a ten year old dog - I think he knew I wanted a fence anyhow). Then we had three robberies on our block in two weeks, so I got two motion lights. So now I am as snug as a bug in a rug, but still have a lot of adapting to do. My neighbor helped me make five plate rails for over my living room and sewing/front room windows. 59 cup and saucer sets. Love it! Keep up the good work. I hope to get there fairly soon. Edie

Would you be willing to share your stars pattern? I would love to make that for our "Operation Forever Grateful" program that our county fair sponsors every year. We donate quilts to soldiers. It's truly a beautiful pattern and I love it. But, now I'm thinking it would also be good in a scrappy type. You are amazing. Yep, you had some pent up creativity.
    Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work. Those pp loons are really impressive. I also really like the way you did the crane wall hanging. Okay, let's get real - it is all gorgeous.
