    Your window quilt is awesome. I'd like to copy your idea for our cold Minnesota winters, but would hate to take it down the rest of the year. Would it be difficult to split it so the sun could shine through some winter days or summer days? I wonder if I could use my 30+ year old drapes as backing for the sun fading problem. You have me thinking!! Beautiful!

    Are French braids difficult? I am a self-taught quilter.
