    Winterthur - 2 reasons
    The pattern that I took inspiration from was called Winterthur. Although that quilt and mine are not very similar at all. They would be classified as very different styles. The original used a pastoral toile and neutral colors where I used my colorful scrolls on black and 18 different bright colors.

    I thought I would keep the pattern name just because it's been a severe winter. 8 Feet high snowbanks in front of my house. I didn't want to name it Cabin Fever. (Then it would have to be some kind of Log Cabin, I think) I've spent a lot of time in my sewing room since Christmas!

    Great use of fabric in the design. Really beautiful quilt. Puts a positive spin on snowy weather. <grin>
