Default Annoying pop up add solution!

Change your password for this board. I think MY problem was that my Facbook password and this board password were the same. I noticed something in the App about Facebbok so a little light went on in my head😉. So far this has worked for me and I was getting that annoying game pop up every time I was on this board, and it would kick me off entirely. HTH

Yes, we have to be so carefully with sharing the same password with other sites. I found out recently that Dollar tree is the most hacked store. No wonder AMEX keeps sending me new cards !!

I keep getting hijacked from this site & redirected to Itunes to download the games being advertised on this site. My passwords are not the same. It is really starting to make me mad, and I don't have the same passwords.

I don't have any duplicate passwords and am even getting political ads on this site for KY. I'm thinking it is Internet Explorer that is the cause. Post what browsers you're using if you're NOT getting these pop ups.

I switched to Google Chrome a while back and haven't had any pop up ads. When I used IE I had trouble posting pics. No problems with Chrome.

I posted on another thread or two that after poking around on "the google" I came across an Apple support forum and their consensus was that this situation had to do with Apple and app developers through the App store. The forum seemed to think it was up to them to fix it, not anything we can do. I don't know if this is the real story, but, am reporting what I read.

Google Chrome has the Do Not Disturb pop up blocker. I don't get any pop ups at all or no redirects. The redirect is spyware.

I use IE and have never had pop-ups of any kind. The fixed ads, if you get them, are triggered by your browsing history. Your security software (and most browsers) ought to have a pop-up blocker and there are all kinds of free ad blockers available. No need to put up with any ads at all.
