Angry Why is it so hard to post a picture?

I’ve read the directions. I do not see an “insert icon” with anything that looks like a tree. I have “managed” my attachments (don’t think that is correct as I have not managed to attach anything at this point) and uploaded, but failed every time. I am on a Mac and in preview, Tools, Adjust Size I see no place where I can choose resolution of 75. I did guess and chose the smallest size-upload still didn’t like it. I have wasted so much knitting/sewing time. This is the computer age, it should be easier.... What am I doing wrong besides getting angry?

You should post you question on the QB Help Center so that someone can address your problem. Be sure to give as much details as you can. I have no problems posting and I am still on XP. You might want to read this posting and see i f there is any info that will help you:

When you start a new thread, the little tree in a square box is almost right under the emoticon on the tool bar. In quick replies as in this, the little tree in a square is 3 times the right of the emoticon. I can't help with posting from a Mac as I use my iPad.

I email the photo to myself, save that version on my desktop, then upload that version to this website. Works every time for me. The icon you need to upload is the 3rd on the right of the smiley face on the tool bar. (It's hard to see the tree) .

Hope this helps as uploading photos can be very frustrating until you find something that works for you.

In my quick reply box the tree is the 4th to the right of the smiley face. If I hover above it, it says "insert image".

If you do not see the tree icon, go to Settings/General settings and scroll way down. Choose WYSIWYG and be sure to save your settings

Here's the tree icon. If you don't see it you need to change your settings
Click on "Forum Actions" right under the Script "Quilting Board" logo at the top of this page.
Select "General Settings" from the drop down menu
Scroll down the to "Miscellaneous Options" section and make sure that "Enhanced Interface - full WYSIWYG editing" is selected.
