Toot, Toot for your finish! As long as it's as done as it will get your ands and out of your stack, it's a definite finish. Nice job and another finish for April.

I found it last month when I was going through boxes and rearranging my sewing area. I needed to find new colors for the borders because I must have used them for another project. Lol!

It will be given back to the charity to sandwich, etc.

I didn't get it smooth on my design wall but it has straight seams and is 40" by 44". The colors aren't very true because the light green does blend with the ferns.

Zozee, too funny about the name of your finish. We've all had/have them! Congratulations on getting out from under Thorn! That deserves a BIG Toot Toot!
Finally finished my UFO for April. No pictures yet as I squeaked in under the wire about 20 minutes ago! It's a baby quilt I started over a year ago for charity. It's been "that one"--you know the kind-- fraught with one problem after another. I should call it Thorn in my Side.

Anyway, sheer determination pushed me to finish it so I could get another little "toot toot!!". I'll try to post pics after I label, wash, and give it its final fussing-over.
Thanks for sharing the pic, Wildyard. Very nice!

Sweetwater...I hope you are taking care of yourself and not overdoing. Don't worry about catching up all at once. There will always be plenty of UFOs around.

Seems you don't mend as fast at 77 as you did when you were younger.
So many wonderful finishes while I have been gone. I have a lot of catching up to do. I'm back on the train again.

Hello! New here! And I mean to this side of Quiltingboard.com, been on the Vintage Sewing Machine board for a while but decided to visit

Posting my UFOs here to doubly ensure my honesty on completed projects.

Stary Night quilt, queen, deadline wheneves
Brigid's Cross quilt, queen, deadline wheneves
Mjölnir and Brigid's Cross quilt (double sided), baby, deadline soon
Red Pentacle quilt, lap, deadline wheneves
Green quilt, lap, deadline Yule
7 more gift quilts to make for family, lap (UFO in the sence that I know I need to make them, though they haven't been started,) deadline Yule

The green quilt is about 1/3 done with FMQ. The other named quilts are cut and the sewing started. The 7 more gift quilts need everything done: fabric picked, cut, pieced, FMQ, trimmed, and binding. Whew! That's actually a lot of quilted gifts. My stash will be shriveled! That's a good thing, but I will miss having all those possibilities neatly folded in tubs just for me.

I finnished a pink lap quilt for the Yule pile, so go me, but it doesn't count for here because it was done before I joined in. Just gimme a big toot when the green quilt is done, eh?

welcome Dragon. i'm still dragging on-on the on deadline quilts. Today was one of those days when I had to start it over about 8 times before I could get with it.

I am not overdoing, went to doctors today. He said I'm doing really great, don't have to go back for three months. Feels great to be able to get more done, I have a few smaller projects to fit in between the two I have been working on. Some placemats, table runners and pillow tops also a purse. Great to see all the finishes and still More gals joining us with more UFOs. There are probably hundreds of thousands of them out there, maybe more than finishes.

Sweetwaterquilter, so glad to hear that you are on the mend!! As someone else mentioned, take care of yourself first, and don't let those UFO's put pressure on you to try to "keep up".

For myself, I'm getting back into my "work-a-day" mode. It's surprising how quickly we can lose motivation by having a week off. Of course, since my week off was getting "baby-love" and chasing a toddler, it was a different kind of work.

I'm trying to decide what to load on the frame next. A friend of ours has been coming over to help hubby around the farm, and bringing his son... who wants a "Clemson Tigers" quilt. <sigh> I don't have the fabric for it yet, so hopefully I can stall enough to at least get one UFO on the frame and stitched with a pantograph. And since he wants some embroidery, that part can be stitching on the embroidery machine while I panto a UFO.
Hmmm, sounds like a plan to me.

I feel like I'm back to normal. The one I have on the frame now is for a Granddaughter who has been very patiently waiting for quite a while. There's always someone waiting for something to be finished and someone making a request for yet another quilt. The only person that doesn't have a quilt for their bed in this family is me. I do have a top almost done for my bed, just waiting for borders.
