Stunning piece! We'll be waiting to see it completed. Congratulations on having gotten so far.

A Finish!!!! It is just a top and I will be giving it to my church group to finish.

I selected the pattern and cut the 2.5". strips into 2.5" - 10" pieces a couple of years ago. Other projects took priority. Sound familiar?

I dug it out this spring and sewed most of it as a leader/ender project.

    It is 69" by 77".

retiredteacher, great scrappy...lol as I started a similar quilt using 1.5" strips, 12 in a block to make a 12" finished block...the purpose is to get rid of fabrics that are either ugly or don't fit in other projects...most have come from the 1.5" strings bin...I'm planning to give to a church group as well...

OK! This is such a beautifully random pattern of colors that I can't find the blocks. Can you send us the link to the pattern? This would be fun to make for a utility or picnic quilt. I of course have plenty of scraps and odds and ends cut in 2.5 strips to make more than one of these honeys.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Here is the website for the scrappy: http://quispamsisquilter.blogspot.co...nce-block.html

If that doesn't work, Google The Q and the U blog and go to scrappy rail fence block.

Oksewglad: I'm glad we have places to donate our quilt tops. Most of the scraps came from the church group so I am just giving it back as a completed top.

Krisb-beautiful quilt. Looking forward to seeing it once you've gotten it quilted.

Connie- what a fun scrappy quilt!
