Great job! I’m hopelessly behind but at least I said No to a new work project today.

Finished clue 3 today. I'm so glad I have been able to keep up with the clues.

grrrr! I haven't finished one clue yet! We keep getting snowed on! So, I have all the four patches and nine patches for clue 1 stitched together but not press, Clue two, I have the strips pressed, but not cut to size yet, and none of the snowball corners cut. Clue 3, I have the fabrics picked out and chunks for two of the colors cut but still need to press and run through the cutter and then stitch and Clue 4 is out Tomorrow!

Don't worry, sewingpup. You're not behind until October of next year.

I fell behind on clue 2 because I gave attention to the Merry Mayhem mystery, and I fell behind this week because of coming down with something. I should at least be able to enjoy the revelation of the clue tomorrow, if not get started on it. Are we thinking aqua?

Joesmom….I’m thinking aqua tomorrow…at least I hope. I’m dedicating some of my week for holiday baking but I’ll be sure squeeze in some sewing time when I can. I’ve been enjoying this mystery, so far…

sewingpup….sounds like you’ve got each clue organized, at least. Fabric pulls can take time when scrappy quilting…for me anyways..

Countdown for clue 4..bring it on..

Right on time! I’m keeping up, too, but the stars have aligned for me this mystery so I give credit to the Galaxy. Lol..

Default Confused about clue 3...never mind

When I go to BH website for #3, all I get is "checking on part #2 progress". Is part #3 a continuation of part #2 since there was an error and now the # of QST has doubled?

I have been happily lurking here and love seeing everyone's blocks. I am going with yardage and doing Christmas colors...cream, gold, green and red (in order light to dark).

Hope someone can help me with clue #3. When is clue #4 due to drop? Today?

Never mind...I haven't had my coffee yet and just realized I did the QST clue already.

    Awaiting clue #4...

    Clue #4 is here: https://quiltville.com/pdf/Chilhowie_PartFour.pdf

A couple of notes. Because of the error in last week’s initial count, this Clue #4 starts with reminding you about the correction to Clue#3. You can skip that if you already updated whatever means you use to save the pattern. Then there are matching sets to sew AND some matching units to cut that won’t be sewn to anything yet. Happy sewing and hope you are enjoying time with friends and family this holiday season.

It looks like I'll be down to my last four unused neutrals and oranges for this clue. I still have plenty of orange and neutral fabric, it just won't be unique to the later clues.

Thank you, SuzSLO, for the reminder!

I have cut out all my clue 4 bits so I’ll be whipping these out a bit at a time. I cut the second part so just need to make HST units. Have a great week preparing for your holiday festivities!!
