I gagged on that large piece in the center. Have spent the last two hours at the working wall experimenting with it.
But I suddenly think I see the forward light in Bonnie's eye and will go forward with trust.

    Well, that's something different!

I'm pleased with the progress I made on clue 5 yesterday, hope to finish those up today.

I'm still collecting clues but will make mine (if at all) with totally different colors. Her's looks too much like my Ringo Lake quilt, here. (I modified it by a straight setting and border of my choosing.)

I’m still working on part 5, making a few more blocks. I like where BH is going with part 6. Look forward to putting a few together soon. Can’t wait to see some of yours.

    Spoiler Alert:

Based on the remaining number of 9 patch units after Clue 6 is completed, my guess is we will add sashing (likely pieced) between the Clue 6 block and use the 9 patches as cornerstones on the interior only.

I gagged too, Kalama. I am thinking that it might be time for me to purchase a purple background Halloween fabric with orange and green somethings in it to not make that huge purple square stand out too much. I may wait till the next set of blocks to work on this clue.

I am looking back at the paint chips and it seems that these are same colors just difference in shade/saturation.

That’s my take, too, SuzSLO….she does strip piecing so maybe she’ll squeeze that in..I think it’s gonna look cool…regardless..

I’ve cut all my pieces and started assembling clue 6…

I like what we have done so far but I don't like the big purple piece. At this point it seems to overpower everything else. I'm sure Bonnie has a brilliant plan in place for this (and I'm excited to see it), but. I'm going to wait on this clue and see how it plays out in the rest of the quilt. Then I'll decide if I want to keep it or toss it in lieu of something else.
