This recipe is for baked beans that are so good that you wish that there were left overs! Serves 7-10 people

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    1 lb ground beef browned
1/2 package bacon fried and crumbled
1 whole sweet onion chopped and fried with the ground beef

drain all of the left over oil or juices away from the ground beef mixture and the bacon. Discard

Place the first three items in a large mixing bowl, then add:

    1 can butter beans drained
1 large can baked beans of your choice
    1 can kidney beans drained
    1 can pinto beans drained
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup sweet barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar or 3 tablespoons pancake syrup
    2 tablespoons yellow mustard

Mix together and pour into large casserole dish or 9 X 12 glass/pyrex dish. Cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for 1 hour covered, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes uncovered.

Serve alongside barbecue and fixins! Enjoy!

I live close enough to you that you could bring me some and I wouldn't have to heat up my kitchen.
