I used to make "beer" biscuits when my kids were little and
I had to fix dinner all of the time. Now I will try the loaf
for a change but use less sugar or use Splenda.
Thank you, I had lost my original receipe.

Hi there. Yes, every ten minutes or so I use the melted butter and brush it on.

I make a lot of yeast bread and don't ususally use any sugar. Unless it is meant for cinnabuns or the like.
It's like a fresh yeast roll to me. I think the beer tones it down.

Sure, I use this recipe for rolls too. Instead of the pan you can make 2" rolls and place them apart on a cookie sheet, still need to brush with butter.

I also make the recipe and make and roll out 4" circles like a tiny pie crust. Then cook hambuger, fresh ginger, fine chopped carrots and chopped cabbage, mix it all together and put a scoop into each circle and close them and bring the sides up to top and twist it to close. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes....meat rolls. Ta-dah

They are good too. And if you don't want to make bread sometimes...I buy the Rhodes frozen rolls and let them set up, they are already individual....roll them out add the ingredients and bake. I love these. Kind of like Indian bread.

Does baking it take the alcohol out?
