I just made these cookies for my grand Dogs for Christmas.

Two Cups of Wheat Flour
Two Eggs
One Small can of pumpkin
Two Tablespoons of peanut Butter
ONE TEASPOON SALT
TWO Tablespoons of Cinnamon
One Cup of chopped fruit (apples of Bananas)
I used on small apple with the skin on and put in a small food processor.

I dropped by teaspoon full on cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Don't overbake and they will be semi-soft. RAFF Rafff!!!!!

I didn't think dogs were supposed to have salt....there are many recipes on the internet for dog cookies.

My sister made a batch of 'dog cookies' one year. She is an extremely good and talented baker. She had them on a platter sitting on a table. Our bro walked into her house, grabbed one. After a couple of bites he just looked at her and said 'what did you do to these? They are terrible'. After she stopped laughing, politely informed him they were for the dogs.

I made snickerpoodles one year and gave some to a friend. Her DH & DS ate them all and raved about how good they were. We laughed about that and she never told them they ate doggie cookies. Google snickerpoodles for the recipe.

I think I will try these. I am planning to put them in a ziplock bag and snip one corner off and just squeeze/drop the dough. Will let you know if it works or not.

Just a note about homemade dog cookies. Even when you bake them 'hard' they have no preservatives and tend to mold very quickly. I remind people to either refrigerate them and use quickly or, better yet, put them in the freezer. You can feed them to your dog straight from the freezer - he won't care.
