    Just found this section!

I have one pattypan squash. I don't want to stuff it or do anything fancy. I just want to know how to cook the thing?

I just cut mine in half (right through the belly button), slice it up, and then steam it. Some salt and pepper and maybe a little butter. YUM YUM!

    Hope that helped.

Thanks, Joey, that's the kind of thing I was looking for. Do you eat the outside of it, or just the inside?

I eat the outside of it too. I just wash it up good, trim off the little belly buttons and just cut it up. Glad I could help. I love patty pans.

Ok Lisanne, here is how a Texan would do it.

Slice it up, don't worry about the skin just leave it on

Dip it in a mixture of milk and egg

Then in a mixture of corn meal with alittle bit of flour thrown in and fry it up.

    Yum, Yum good!
