I was reading the recepts listed on here not long ago and there was a dessert receipt that had cherry pie filling and Coke in it and now I do not know how to find it. I want to make it. I made the Chocolate cake in 5 minutes and it was very very good. Thanks for your help Carol

This is an old recipe, had it at least 25 years:

    Cherry Coke Salad

    ½ cup hot water
    1 can cherry pie filling
2 small packages of cherry Jello
1 large can crushed pineapple, in juice, undrained
    ½ c chopped pecans
1 cup Coke a Cola (I have used RC Cola before)

Bring water and pie filling to a boil. Add Jello powder and mix well. Add rest of ingredients, mix well. Pour into casserole dish and refrigerate until set.

I remember back in the 60's my aunt found this recipe and made this for one Thanksgiving family dinner. None of us kids would eat it because it was too dark looking to be Jello! We just knew we were being fooled saying it was Jello and add the word salad to it, for us kids that was something to run like heck from.

Well, I have to admit, it's been a LONG time since I made it but I think I remember it being quite sweet but good. Yes, how can any 'salad' be dark and be Jello! :?:
