    Default Maple Glaze Chicken

A no salt glaze for chicken

I found this recipe yesterday that someone had posted. It's from a cookbook called Dinner on a Dime. It's yummy on sweet potatoes too. Sounds weird, but really tasted great for us!

4 chicken breasts or whatever part you want

1/4 cup maple syrup...the real stuff

4 Tsp lemon fresh lemon juice

    1 Tbs butter

Salt and pepper if you like but I left both out

Mix the liquids together in a small pan and simmer for 5 minutes.

Put the chicken in a 450° for 10 minutes.

Take the chicken out and pour glaze on the chicken.

Cook the chicken another 15 minutes or until the juices run clear.

I did chicken legs under the oven's broiler until they were done. Then, brushed the glaze on them and broiled them 2 more minutes. I did that twice on each side.

Sounds good. The person I cook for likes salt so I will leave it in. I have some boneless thighs in the freezer right now.

I made it today. It smelled really good. I browned the boneless, skinless thighs in butter (one side only), then poured the sauce over and baked them. I added some garlic powder and lemon zest along with the s and p. My friend will let me know tomorrow how they tasted.
