    i have taken the onions cut out the center put butter in them and cooked them till the onion is soft and light brown and they are fantastic

    This is a great recipe. I have made this and love it and I don't like onions. Go figure

Vidala onions are a must, as they are sweet with hardly any aftertaste. Took a huge bowl to a party came home with less than a cup left!
