    I would have preferred to see it original too. Even if there wasn't much left of the finish. The cylinder arm is a nice feature.

    Okay, okay, I hear you. But I think there's not much difference between what was done to this machine and repainting a FW. Not just for the sake of repainting, but to take an old worn machine and make it pretty again as well as functional. I don't know enough about industrials to even know the decals were wrong. Thinking about it more, I'm starting to agree with you. An industrial workhorse should look tough, not pretty.
