    Default Handwheel replacements for spokes

If one is wanting to convert a machine from electric to a handcrank and one does not have a spoked wheel, you need to get one. You also need to be aware that hubs on different handwheels may be deeper that others. 1" hubs work well for handcranks. When I tried to put a 1 5/8 deep hub from a Singer VS on a 99 , I could no longer get the clutch knob on. therefore, it wasn't usable for that purpose .I haven't measured to see if the number of spokes makes any difference.
    Just a FYI
