    I just saw one on Craigslist that was green, at least they claimed it was a 301. I was skeptical...but not sure. It's on the Mattoon/Charleston IL pagehttp://chambana.craigslist.org/atq/4254892854.html

    I have 3 301s - all long beds. My black 301 is my main machine and doesn't have any issues with YLI thread and I use YLI variegated thread quite a bit when quilting.

    I have my eye on a 301, but have not heard back from seller with serial number.

    its a brand of thread and the company is based in S. Carolina. it is a premier supplier of quilting and sewing thread.
