Default Stitchmaster Sewing Machine Delux Japan

    Hello,

I just was gifted a Stitchmaster and it needs a belt. New at this vintage machine forum and would appreciate some directions on how to measure for the belt and a source as well as how do I find the age. I do have the serial number.
    108582
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

    Thank you.

Welcome to QB. Unfortunately, the serial number or even the name doesn't help identify Japanese machines.

As for measuring for belt replacement -

I bought the same model of sewing machine and I have this kind of problem, look by coincidence.

As for the age, that is difficult to pinpoint, unless someone has kept original paperwork with the machine. There are some that can look at the features and give an approximate age.
