If you do, I want that repainted, missing slideplate machine and will offer $15.01. But only if they deliver it for free from Maryland to Illinois and not strapped to a pallet either. That sounds about as reasonable as the price. And also provide an explanation on how you can drive a sewing machine to church on Sundays.

SteveH and Grant15clone, you both have made my day! I bow out to your $15.01 bid. Too rich for my blood...

I hope the church is close enough for a 100 ft extension cord. Maybe if I convert it to one of those tractor sewing, or sowing machines...
Some make me laugh too. Some make me want to cry, but never a dull moment here.
I am glad I was able to brighten your day.

This Craig's List ad is just amazingly condescending in how its worded. It can all be yours for a mere $950!

I bet it runs like a sewing machine.

I went ahead and insulted them, since they didn't refrain from insulting me with that price, and the lame attempt at justifying it.

Oh, and over-inflated eBay prices don't constitute any sort of appraisal, especially when it isn't even a comparable machine.
