Default Where to find the model number for a Singer

I have a singer that has the serial number on a plate, I looked that up and it says it is 1952 model number 15, but when I look this model number up I am getting 15-91 and other 15 numbers with additional numbers or letters. I can't find anything with just a 15. I went to the singer site to find out if I can get a manual for it, but when I put the 15 in, it list the 15 with other numbers or letters, not just 15. I was wondering if you have any suggestions how I should know which 15 model I have? I try to compare pictures, but some look similar to me or maybe I just need better glasses LOL Do I need to email or call Singer or am I missing something in my searches? I would like to find out for sure so I can find some replacement parts for this nice machine. Is there a preferred place where you get your parts for your older Singers? Thank you for your help, I appreciate it!

    BirdyFeathers,

You have a nice 15-91. What parts do you need for it?

    HI Cathy
Thank you so much! The foot pedal receptacle is broken, I would love to replace that.

Try emailing Jennie at sew-classic and ask if this will work for the -91 setup.
I think this is what you need: http://shop.sew-classic.com/Terminal...-SCE192797.htm

Nice machine!! Looks like it's also missing the connecting block for the light/motor/foot controller. Unless you've got it somewhere else.

If you want a "modern" foot controller you can get one at sew-classic.com. If you want a vintage foot controller you might have to look around.

Thank you both very much for the helpful info and the links! You are right, it is also missing the connecting block. I will also need to replace that.
