Try sending lostn51 a PM...he's very good about answering. In the thread your inquiry can get lost really quick, as it's a very popular and fast moving thread.

She's a beauty!! Good luck finding all her parts!!

Nice machine! I have an oldie too with a coffin hood like yours. Singer is the make.
Good luck with finding parts. I'm sure you won't have trouble with the internet.

I need to see the side of the cabinet, I need to see if it has the Veneer inserts on the drawers. This will help me in dating it.

The cabinet isn't in as good of shape as the machine. It's been "refinished" with paint? There is veneer wrap around on the outsides of the drawers, but not on the inside.

There are additional px in the vintage shop too.

Thanks Billy,
olebat

Kiddo it looks like our two machines are close to the same age. I will know more when I get mine home.

Thanks,

Do you remember if yours has the bobbin thread guide? That is the biggest difference I've seen in my limited research.

I'll try to be patient - it's like waiting for Santa.

I do not remember but it was wedged in a tight hole and I could not see much at the time other than the needle plate was oval and the needlebar was a flat piece of metal. I know its around 1875 but I will find out more when I get it in the next couple of hours.
