Your trip was obviously a success. Enjoy your visible memory from it.

Great road trip, great friend, great machine. You did exceptionally well. If you got the owners manual keep it with the machine. Kenmors are capable of great things, but you do need to keep the controls set correctly.

Great story! You'll think of your friend every time you sit down at that machine.

You did great and I would love the trip too. We have 2 Kenmores but the other day I had a problem because I found out they are high shank machines and my walking foot doesn't fit. Now I have to find where to buy the high shank
ones for he Kenmore.

I have my mother's high shank Kenmore and many, many low shank feet. I finally bought a converter so that I can use the low shank feet on the machine.

Sew-Classic.com has high shank walking feet. Jenny has a chart to show how to measure your presser feet; check it out because Kenmore also made a super high shank foot.
