Default 2 New to me machines

I went to the thrift shops today looking for something totally unrelated to sewing or machines in general. I was looking for a salad spinner to dry veggies before freezing. I found the salad spinner for a buck and was happy. This one flea market had these 2 sewing machine that they had had for about 6 months and couldn't sell, both marked $25. I asked if they could contact the vendor to see if they would take 1/2 for one of them as I really didn't want the other. The vendor was on site and said he would take $12.50 each if I took them both. Needless to say I'm a push over when it comes to vintage machines so I got them. I'll get pictures up tomorrow when its a little bit lighter but here's a description,
Machine 1 (the one I wanted) and looks like 50's retro
Brand: Vigetti/De Luxe Zig Zag made in Japan
Model: 139
Color: Tan/cream
Original Case in rough shape

Machine 2
Brand: Elgin but made by Standard Sewing Equipment Corp.
Model: 159
Color: White/cream
Plastic new fangled case

Both machines are stuck and a little rusty underneath but not too bad.
The Vigetti is stuck and it appears to be at the bobbin so no real big deal
NO PLASTIC inside or out for both machines so I'm happy.

When I did a search for the manuals the Pfaff kept coming up for the Vigetti. Did Pfaff make this machine? Still didn't find a manual for either machine.

Until I get a picture up I found one that looks very close, differences being the color and the 3 buttons on the front edge for the feed dogs. This one has 3 and mine has 2 and says 139 at the top of the pillar badge.

it was very likely made in a Brother or Janome factory - I think I have something like that around... Look inside the hand wheel or on the bottom and see the markings.

My first thought was that the one in the ad is very similar to some Brother machines I've seen.
Can't wait to see the actual machines.

The only similarity I see to a Brother machine is the color. Tension assembly and nose shape are very different.
