Default Is this a 301 or a featherweight table?

This guy says it's for a featherweight. But I think he is wrong. What do you think?

I don't know the guy, just looking at the table. Also is his price normal or overpriced?

It is indeed a featherweight and a it is a Featherweight card table. I think it is a bit overpriced, unless it is in excellent condition. I love my featherweight table, but I got it for $65. Mine was in good shape but the previous owners husband had "refinished" it with heavy multiple coats of urethane
. So mine isnt "collectible any more, but, hey , it is dang useful!

Tan edge, 301 table. The tables for FW are black edge. Price? Perspective....*I* think it's too much, but that's me.

To me it's sure looks to be a featherweight table. I have the same one only with the black sides and legs. His may of been repainted the sides and legs. The price is about right for this type of table with the drop cover but it would go less due to cover missing and be refinshed in the wrong color or is it a reproduction. Ask is there a serial # it should if it's not a reproduction.

Mine looks just like that one. I haven't looked for a serial #. I paid $105.00 for mine on auction.

Ask him to send you pics of the "hole" without the machine. I know FW tables have a "bracket" that holds the machine. I don't believe the 301 tables have that bracket.

The price is way too much as it is missing the insert.

AZ Kat, the 301 tables do have a bracket to hold the sewing machine.

amyjo, look for the Simanco number stamped on the top of the front metal bracket of your table.

I paid around $150 for my three and one did not have the insert. My husband made one that is perfect.

Yes indeed it is a featherweight table. I have one with the extension table that goes with it. I also agree that it is a little over priced. I even have the original sales receipt for the table & machine from when my Grandpa bought it for his bride. Note: my table has the tan sides.
