Today's update. Crocee's blocks arrived today. Crocee sent some blocks fairly early on but they never made it so a couple days ago Crocee sent another package. Both packages showed up today for a total of 4 blocks.
Thank you Crocee!
There are still some blocks on their way too like the one from Miriam's mother. Thank you! and a few others.
Sometimes I'm a little slow. I finally realized that I have far more than 42 people participating in this quilt. Right now I have 42 blocks on a side. If I get more than that I'll add a row. The quilt is going to be two sided, with neither a front or a back. If you don't see your block (or blocks) on one side, it(they) will certainly be on the other. As I said before, there's no particular order other than no two blocks from the same person will be next to each other.
Here's a couple pictures. I haven't started sewing rows to each other and won't until I'm sure all blocks are in.
The color might be just a bit on the yellow side in this picture. This is the fabric we chose for the sashing and borders.
Ella at work. This is natural daylight and pretty close to the true colors.
A partial shot of a couple of the finished rows.
Thank you everyone!
Rodney

Rodney that is looking very nice and the turquoise color sashing really sets the blocks off.
I'm just glad my wayward blocks found their way to your place. The things must have had quite an adventure traveling around. Since both sets are mostly the same you don't have to use both or you can if you want If you don't use the extra, I know there's a young lady hanging around over there who might like them

Thank you Crocee! I really need to do another count since I've lost track(again). I will in the morning. I do know for a fact that every block I receive will be used. Nobody's efforts will go to waste on this.
Rodney
EDIT: Thank you too Sheri! We were typing at the same time.

You have chosen one of my favorite colors for the sashing and it really makes the blocks pop! Rodney, you have a great eye for color.
Miriam, I am so thrilled to hear of the beautiful Savannah who will be a wonderful companion for Ashlea and to hear of your mother's efforts. I know that she must have been excited to be a part of the quilt making and that Ashlea will treasure her quilt all the more with so many of your family participating. Caleb certainly has been busy...does he have time to sleep? He seems to have found the right friend for Ashlea in Savannah. What a great dog and her name is perfect.
Hugs to all,
Donna
