Add me to the Featherweight club!!!

My hubby bought me this beautiful Featherweight today on eBay! I was bidding on a gorgeous, custom pink featherweight but it got too expensive so I dropped out of the bidding war. We found this one and bought it instead. I'm so excited! I can't wait for it to get here! :-D

Congrats! Now you should check out the Vintage machine blog/thread on how to date your new machine. There are links that will take you to the Singer website to find out the timeframe when your machine was made. You have a Centennial edition (like I do) - which means it was probably sometime in 1951.
Enjoy!

Oh that's beautiful!!! I recently got one and have had soooooo much fun with mine!!! I get so excited for anyone else who gets one :D:D
PS. I saw that pink one on ebay too, it got pricey indeed. I just check ebay for the fun of it but not sure I like the ones they paint. Almost seems sacreligious to me lol
