anyone use an adjustable hemming foot on a singer 99?.how good does it work? it it easyer than useing pins?

It should look a lot better than if you just use pins.

i ordered one off ebay.i saw one being used on you tube,it looked easyer than useing pins.can you use it on any machine that has a short shank?
