Default Alert! Singer 15-91 for sale for $35 in Greensboro, NC

On ebay, for local pick up only, starting bid (no bids yet, only 1 day left) is $35. Just put "Singer 15-91" in the search bar on ebay and you'll find it. For all you 15-91 lovers in that area. Good luck and Happy Easter!

I looked but didn't see it..... WOW! most machines were $$$! Do people really pay that much for a 15-91? I didn't realize it was that special!

I agree.... $35 is a great price. But the machines I saw had price tags of around $300. That seems a lot for one of these machines..... I see vintage machines sell for much less than $300 and up.

$35 is a steal for a 15-91! I'm only an hour away from Greensboro too! These are fabulous machines. I used mine a couple weeks ago to sew 1/4" thick leather. Went through it like I was sewing through butter. You can drop the feed dogs and free-motion. The stitch quality is wonderful and I NEVER need to fiddle with tension. I used the same tension to sew the leather that I use when I sew quilt fabric.

If you find a machine like this grab it before someone else does. The table in Greensboro looks better than the one I was given. The shellac was flaking off on half the top and there were dark rings from water glasses. I restored the top and it's beautiful now.

I put instructions on how to restore the top somewhere on quiltingboard, I'll look for it...

You're right, you don't have to hassel with the tension.
