Default Another road trip

Five hour drive in - so not all that far this time. Saying the final "goodbye" - interment for my parents' ashes and a Open House to say goodbye to the family farm. I'll be picking up the White that was found in the attic (and the kitchen cabinets - but not the sink LOL!!)

Got arrangements to pick up three more machines, one I'm quite certain will be there, the other two - well, so far I've only gotten stood up once on craigslist, but one never knows.

I would really prefer not to be traveling so much, but sometimes there isn't a lot of choice in the matter, one of the bad things about getting old - so do all your relatives!

I got four small quilts done for the two newest grand nephews - and the two older pre-school brothers of the one - to keep them from stealing the baby's blanket.

I'll have lots of pictures of the new ones to share when DH and I get home in a few days.

Safe travel wishes and hopes that the good memories will help you deal with saying "good bye" to so many components of the life that made you be who you are today. It's a lot to deal with, just know that.

Cathy, be safe in your travels. Saying "Goodbye" is hard. There is something that is seemingly the very end of life as you know it, but you and I both know that you'll see them again! Drive safely!
