Hi Amelia, My projects took longer than expected. I had a chance to find my Neechi BU. You mentioned your’s is the older version with the all chrome tensioner. Mine has a black face and I noticed mine is a Nova series BU. However, I looked on SewingPartsOnLine and each takes the same spring - #206510-10. The spring has two diameters coiled on the same spring. The lesser diameter appears to be that way to hold the spring on the tensioner cylinder. I’m not proficient in internet pictures but am trying to attach them to this post. You may need to blow them up to view what you desire.I preferred to not take spring from cylinder as I didn't want to upset my setting. Hope this helps. Ron

I'm bumping this up. I'm not sure if Amelia has had a chance to see it. She may have her problem solved, but here it is on first page, again.
